Load
Branches and bamboo enter through the wide hopper. Chain conveyors are available for long, tangled or bulky material.
01 / Equipment
A Cronus branch chipper cuts bark, branches, slab offcuts, bamboo and similar plant residues into chips, fibers, particles or finer material, depending on feedstock and configuration.
The mobile range is engineered around a high-inertia rotor, alloy knives and hydraulically driven feed rollers. Compact trailer models suit landscaping and orchard work; conveyor-fed and crawler options support larger, less uniform forestry material.

02 / Working Principle
Material passes through four coordinated stages designed to keep throughput stable and reduce overload events.
Branches and bamboo enter through the wide hopper. Chain conveyors are available for long, tangled or bulky material.
Hydraulic feed rollers compress and pull material toward the rotor with forward, reverse and stop control.
Four H12 alloy moving knives pass a fixed knife, shearing feedstock into repeatable chips at operating speed.
Rotor airflow carries chips through a height-adjustable, 360-degree chute into a trailer, pile or collection area.
03 / Built for Work
Feeding pauses when engine load rises and restarts automatically after recovery. Automatic and manual modes can be selected.
Large rollers maintain contact with irregular branches; forward, reverse and stop positions help clear difficult material.
Replaceable moving and fixed knives simplify inspection, sharpening and wear-part planning.
Adjustable towing height, folding jack, road lighting and repositionable discharge support fast deployment.
Larger models display temperature, oil pressure, voltage and accumulated hours, with engine protection functions.
04 / Applications
Share your branch diameter, moisture, target chip size and hourly requirement. Cronus will match the rotor, feed and power configuration to the job.
Reduce roadside, park and garden branches near the collection point.
Process seasonal pruning into mulch, compost carbon or transportable chips.
Handle limbs, tops, bark and slab offcuts with positive chain feeding.
Create consistent feedstock for downstream drying, pelletizing or combustion.
Size bamboo poles, skin and workshop offcuts before further utilization.
Lower the volume of clean woody waste and turn it into a reusable resource.

CE documentation is also available within the company's equipment certification portfolio. Product- and market-specific applicability should be confirmed before purchase.
10 / FAQ
A useful quotation starts with real feedstock information. Photos or a short video of the branches usually help us recommend more accurately.
Send your requirementsTree branches, bark, slab offcuts, bamboo, bamboo skin and similar clean plant or forestry residues. Tell us about contamination such as soil, stone or metal before testing.
The supplied specifications cover approximately 1-8 t/h. Capacity depends on model, species, moisture, diameter, branch shape, feeding consistency and desired output.
Feed throat sizes range from 300 × 200 mm to 860 × 480 mm across the documented models, but a throat dimension is not the same as guaranteed solid-log diameter. Send the maximum and typical branch diameter for confirmation.
The controller monitors engine speed and load. It stops the feed rollers under high load and resumes them after recovery. The action range can be set, and automatic/manual selection is available.
Chip form is affected by knife setup, feed rate, species, moisture and screen or downstream configuration where applicable. A sample test is recommended when size tolerance matters.
Choose chain feed for long, tangled, leafy or bulky residues that need a stable support surface before they reach the compression roller.
Towable units move efficiently between accessible sites. A crawler model is better where self-propelled movement, uneven ground or limited towing access is the priority.
Moving knives, the fixed knife, feed components, belts or couplings, bearings and filters require planned inspection. Wear rate depends heavily on feedstock cleanliness and operating hours.
Inspect cutting edges routinely and sharpen when chip quality falls, power demand rises or feeding becomes less smooth. There is no universal interval because abrasive bark, soil and dry hardwood change wear quickly.
Configurations may include feed stop/reverse control, emergency stop, engine monitoring, overload-responsive feeding, lighting and guarded drive components. Final safety scope is confirmed in the order specification.
Yes. The documented range uses a quick-adjust 360-degree discharge chute with height adjustment for directing chips into a pile or collection vehicle.
Provide material type, typical and maximum diameter, moisture, required tonnes per hour, target chip size, mobility preference, destination country and local emissions or road requirements.
